UNITY AND INTEGRITY OF THE SOUTH INDIAN KINGDOMS!!

As suggested by my blog title, I am going to brief you about the various South Indian kingdoms and the values that I have inherited by their way of rule.               South India, in the historical and ancestral times, was a very prosperous and rich land with unity amongst the people. People lived a satisfied life with all their necessities fulfilled. The kings of South ruled their lands with sovereignty, truthfulness and justice, so that even the less fortunate people would be given their respect and status. They ensured that Equality carries through and everyone is happy and gratified. I found the kings to be of a calm and unperturbed demeanour and they certainly had a profound impact on their subjects. Even at that time, literatures were of huge significance. A Sangam was held thrice at Madurai, wherein poets and authors travelled from faraway lands to share their poems, stories and dramas. Even now, some of their relics are found in South India.   So, the 1 st South India

Edicts of the rule of the 3 main kings, who shaped this dynasty, influenced many to mend their ways. Chandragupta Maurya- The first Mauryan Emperor; built the foundation for this empire to flourish and for his descendants to understand the responsibilities a ruler has for his subjects and kingdom. It is often said that he belonged to the ‘Land of Peacocks’, which is why, he is called Maurya. He was assisted in doing so by the great philosopher, teacher, economist, advisor and jurist

A Momentous Revolution Shaping the World!!!

The Neolithic Period was a transition from an unstable lifestyle to a settled community. It was a very major revolution also termed as the Agricultural Revolution. The people began understanding the way to fulfil and satisfy their needs. This led to a very impactful growth in the agricultural sector. Hunter-gatherers lessened the killing of animals and began devoting their time to Agricultural practices. They invented various sophisticated tools such as scrapers, blades, ploughs, hammers etc. Mainly, they cultivated wheat, barley and lentils. Along with farming, people also started rearing cattle, sheep and goat. They also domesticated various tame animals. There are evidences of dogs being buried with their owners in graves at Burzahom. India- Land of Great Heritage!!

India is a land of vivid history and great heritage. Ancient India was a blend of innumerable conquests of different kings, the capture of various provinces, the enslavement of the lower castes and many major developments as well. The word India came from the Greek Word ‘Indoi’ which means the people who lived near river Indus. Once India had joined Asia and Himalayas had risen, the land resembled a lot to the place where we currently live. Archaeologists have enabled us to enhance our history by excavating the various remains of our past. The early humans were not as intelligent as we are now. They did not have a particular language through which they could communicate. They could not write or maintain records. Nevertheless, they had created the foundation for us to build upon today. The  first  evidence of the Stone Age culture in  India  surfaced in Karnataka as  early  as in 1842 when Dr. Primrose  discovered  polished stone knives and arrow heads  The earliest people a

During this time, we must work on pursuing our interest and then wonders will follow !! We must believe in our self and work hard to attain our aspiration. 2.      Share Your experience of Being a Bookworm : Reading books of all genres is a very uplifting and motivational experience . Meeting a better version of ourselves!!

Being a Perfectionist is not an art, but the result of determination to become one. No one in this world is born perfect. We all long to be perfect. What does this mean? Does it mean that we should have all good-qualities in our self or, we have a scope of improvement in making a better version of our self? Well, people will mostly go with the first point. But I agree with the second. None of us can be perfect. If there is a possibility of progression at all times, then we may want to do better and we will not remain happy with what we are. We will want to enhance our flaws and not let them take the better of us . We must always work to revamp our weaknesses so that they turn out to be our strong points . We should always be concerned about our short-comings and work on them from an early age. Otherwise, they may aggravate and cause many other problems. As children, we must infuse good qualities in our self from a premature time and pursue fields we have an interest

5 Lessons for a Blissful Living!!!

Great things are done by a series of small things brought together!  These lessons that I am mentioning are just the steps of a perfect and incredible ladder of life. KINDNESS:- Being rude is an invisible weapon that can cause deeper wounds than any other weapon. Hence, all of us must treat everybody around us compassionately . The reason is, being polite towards someone can open up their minds and melt their hearts . PATIENCE:- The fruit of being patient is always juicy . One shall never be restless to do some task. Every work that we have been assigned must be completed calmly . One thing that I surely guarantee you is, once you invest in patience , the returns will always be more. THE WAY WE LOOK AT THINGS:- All of us have a perception of all things around us. It is our mind that opens our way of looking at things. Though each one of us has a different opinion about one same thing, there is one thing that we must definitely seek . That value is being positive . O

Let’s Unitedly Fight and Eliminate Obesity

Why has the worldwide Obesity count tripled since 1975 ? Was it because of the healthy lifestyle the people led in those times and the extra care and precautions they took for their body? Why has obesity become the fifth leading risk for global deaths in the world? All of us have these questions in our mind which we want to get an answer to.       Developing obesity is a very simple task in today’s world. The sedentary lifestyle we lead, the lack of exercise we do and the food which we consume. All of them are major factors that affect our mental and physical health. Nowadays, every sector is growing virtually, which has increased the possibility of becoming obese . The reason is, we have to devout all our time on-screen and have to continuously sit at one place. This may lead to weight gain , which, if not controlled, can lead to Obesity. People often  neglect the poor way of lifestyle they lead and do not comprehend the significance of exercising regularly. These days, ch

BOOKS- A Priceless Treasure

Books are treasure chests of knowledge and wisdom . They can teach you many lessons which life may not be able to. Books are of different types: some that transport us to a world of fantasy or some that inspire us . I am sure reading a book is a favourite past-time of many. Curling under a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate is the best environment to enjoy reading a book. Books help us to explore the entire world in no time!! The vivid language used by authors and the way they express their feelings is commendable. It is really touching . Reading stories is an experience that can teach us many moral values . Many mythological books have been written in the prehistoric time by incredible authors. Ramayana and Mahabharata are few of them. Folktales like Panchatantra and Jataka tales are a set of many fables. Each one of them has a deep logic which the reader has to interpret. Children usually like to read such books. The reason is, these books are written in a simpl

Satisfaction- Finest path for a Happy Life

Being satisfied with what we have is the best part of life because we stop worrying about what is next in the list. All of us should be grateful to God for what we have. He has bestowed upon us, all the necessary requirements, important to lead a happy life . Satisfaction also helps in creating a positive environment . Optimistic vibes are essential to have a healthy and calm mind and soul . Discontentment gives rise to Greed . Greed is a human being’s most powerful enemy. It can take away all our happiness and leave us restless and in want for more, eventually, making us distressed . Children too should be content with what they have. They must understand that all their demands cannot be fulfilled and insisting parents to fulfil their unreasonable wishes that children are not satisfied. This may lead to a disturbed and distracted mind , which is not a good sign. But, being satisfied does not mean that we stop working hard . Many students do not work to their fullest poten
